Ted Keaton…lead vocal and a three hundred pound B-3 organ. Ted is the former lead
singer and keyboard player of the legendary Kallabash Corp. Ted adds
tunes by Ollie Nightingale, Van Morrison, Delbert, Stevie Ray, Tyrone
Davis and more. If he’s not on stage, you’ll find him somewhere on a
dance floor shagging! |

Doug
Dennis…bass
and vocal. Doug began his career in music at the one and
only…Castaways in
Greensboro
. Since before
and after founding his group
Brice Street
, Doug has
performed non-stop with area bands. Simply put, Doug is one of the
smoothest, best and most in-demand bass players around. |

Bob Sykes…Guitar and vocal. Bob brings some International experience
to Carolina's. Born and raised in England, started his musical career in the
early 70's. Bob played a couple of years in Munich Germany, then on to
Pittsburgh then Virginia (while in college). His guitar influences are all
the stars we know and have grown to love. Bob shared the stage with many
musical stars and legends, including beach music's own favorite son, Delbert
McClinton.

Roy Brown |

Roy Brown…
Drums. Roy grew up in Greensboro and is a graduate of the UNC-G School of
Music. Over the years, he has played in a wide variety of musical settings
including a stint with beach music icons, The Showmen. However, most people
recognize Roy from his long tenure as the drummer and leader of Dr. Brown’s Code
Blue Revue (which also included our own Bob Sykes on guitar) and his more recent
gigs with The Revelators. The Doctor IS IN!! |

James
Kipple... Lead Vocal and keyboard. From Greensboro NC, James started his
musical career as child gospel performer and cut his first solo album at age
ten. James has over thirty years experience performing all over the east coast.
He was a member of The Phase Band & Show, billed as one of East Coast
Entertainments top 10 event and wedding bands. More recently James was a
founding member of Big John Thompson and The Rhythm Brothers. James is an
outstanding musician and can he ever SING!! |

Steve Hill |
Steve Hill…Steve is
our fabulous sound man. Steve has been house soundman at the Lighthouse Tavern
on the Elon University campus for the last 19 years. Mixed some big names, likes
of Hootie & The Blowfish and also Artimus Pyle from Lynyrd Skynyrd (drummer).
Was on the road with Brice Street with Doug Dennis in the early 80s and have
been involved with mixing a lot of area bands from here to the coast. |
